2 moments: on my old schwinn hardtail...got skewered by a limb on the short loop in mohican just after the crazy downhill on the return. limb came through on the left side of the frame above the pedals...and as I rode by it follow along, then shot me off the bike like a catapult. a little blood on the shin...a little loss of wind after hitting the ground...but the bike was okay. :-) 2nd - out on a sunrise ride...and went down on some gravel by the airport...first question in the ER after my bride picked me up...how's the bike then 14 stitches. :-). love the quote by Bryne and there are moments when Sartre
Those videos are painful to watch. After a bunch of MTB crashes, I try (as much as possible!) to keep at least one wheel on the ground at all times. I like to stay “grounded.”
