To all the people who participated in PKR this year, thank you! It was a fun day, and we couldn’t have had better weather.
There were 99 of you cycopaths who registered for the ride through Ohio’s most beautiful countryside. (And a few who “don’t do computers” who just showed up. Which is fine. Expected actually.)
No one got hurt — though there was one minor crash that left some scrapes on one unlucky soul. Luckily, he was about 500 feet from the finish line.
I learned some things. First: porta potties are a good idea. Second: marking the route a bit closer to the day of the ride would serve us well. And also, painting the markers well before the intersections is best practice.
Third: assigning two grill masters was a stroke of genius. Fourth: not assigning a foods director was not super smart.
So again, thank you for joining. Expect more of the same next year, with little tweaks and additions.
And a major “thanks” to all who pitched in financially. Holy crap, you folks are a supportive bunch. Thank you to Y-Not, Jay Allred (our OG Chief Peckerhead), Carrousel Properties and so many more. You are all appreciated deeply.
Enjoy some pictures from the day and a video recorded and edited by one of our own, Tom Roepke.

And a video from Tom:
We’ll see you all again next year. Same time, same place!
Oh, and if you didn’t grab a sticker, let me know and I’ll send you one. We have plenty.
